hi everyone. the crab is back!
i just realised that my posts subjects are ever so aggressive. crab 'ATTACK'. one moment i'm in front of my computer, maybe the next i'll be hacking into one of your minds and reading all your deepest darkest secrets out loud. ^^ *stressed stressed stressed* i don't believe i'm using my precious study time now blogging at our beloved, no-so-alive blog! too bad. who cares about lousy mass spec?
wah it's already week 5!!! and i have only blogged so little.... hmm i must buck up abit and not lose out! =) warning: the crab is going crazy. it may bite you any moment. haha. let me try and spam some biology h3 facts here and go bonkers after that. i think mass spec is one of the stupidest things to include in one's syllabus. it's okay if we're made to do it for practical sessions but the plain thought of having to write out mass spectrometry procedures and mechanisms is murder. even the pharmaceutical chemistry people don't have to know every bolt and knut to the god forsaken machine. -.- cries. anyway if you ever come across a mass spec machine, must see what are its components k? the ionization source can be MALDI or ESI... okay i think i am really freaking out. this is not the best place to create some waffling nonsense. =)
rah! still! life is getting shorter and shorter and the dread for A levels is getting longer and longer. WAH i can't get ANYTHING into my mind lah. apart from SENSUAL pleasures =X joking lah. proteins are the nightmare of my life! bwahahahahahaha.
i don't believe that prelims are going to happen near my birthday. >< it's like throwing an ice towel over a plate of hot chilli crab. T.T i'm freezing to death in the library so i shall move away from the computer and go zibei in a zibe corner in the library. bye all.
oh no. i just ranted. i shall die.
everyone should read/watch ouran high school host club. it's entertaining and stress relieving. =) well things may seem to fall apart but we are still alive and kicking. it's a big ocean after all. ^^ accepting changes that come your way is also what magnanimous sea creatures do. *big wide grin*

Just watched the show entitled "my boss my hero". It's largely about a secret society boss who went to study in high school, disguised as a 17 or 18th year old.
What really captured my attention is their school life... ok.. it's ard the same as that in singapore where everyone prepares for enterance exams (like our a levels). but the different thing is that they take exams separately as they go to the universities to take exams. Pretty cool coz after u get in, u dun have to study!
Wad was most memorable was their class bonding and the many events they experience together. For eg they had a class performance--a music performance that involved every member of the class during the cultural festival. The class was very bonded thereafter even though they were all dispersed prior to that event. It was really touching after their performance where everyone gathered and thank the class rep...
Then after everyone got busy with their exams, sch became opitional for them.... so after a long time... then they meet up for their graduation ceremony.
Parting is really sad, especially if u have something memorable to look back at and treasure... It's like an ending to initiate a new beginning with everyone going in differernt directions....
However, i feel that there hasnt really been sth really really significant for me to look back at in this 1.5 years in JC.. a pity... if only we have a class performance or sth like the people in the school.... Let's work hard to create fond memories! and just like wad is mentioned in the show-- Enjoy School and everything related to it! Fall in love with schoool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

or maybe i shall be nice and help out. depends on my mood cos right now i just feel like slacking.

holidays have passed rather quickly, wouldn't you all agree? quite sad.

haha know what? i dreamt of you guys this morning! haha. we were having pe lessons in class (yes in a classroom).. i forgot to bring my pe shirt so i was in uniform. the teacher (super old she who is not any of our school's pe teacher or anyone whom i know) approached me so i had to come up with an excuse of being sick. and she demanded an mc. hahaha. anyways we were sitting together as always in a row.. the sequence being pong, swee, myself, en and dear.
i'm sian and bored.
i have a cute nice song to recommend! it's the familiar avril lavigne's girlfriend but featuring lil mama. super cute. go check it out =)
oh ya. it rained this morning. super cooling. loved it alot, especially the cool windy breeze. it made me feel as if i'm not in singapore but in some temperate country....... short-lived but blissful.

I don't believe that I haven't been touching LJ for so long. I thought I might get used to the regularity of blogging and churn out posts randomly and constructively like my dear and pong. apparently I am still incapable of such a feat. but i shall come online more often to hang around! (who cares about mugging when you have so much stuff to worry about)
apologies, apologies. apologies to pong and en for making them worry. and apologies for dear to make her worry even more. apologies to swee for still owing her twelve dollars and stubbornly refusing to pay her back. I've been apologising so much that I don't know whether I mean them or not. but for the time being, I'm still very sane, thank you. therefore it is wise to believe the crab and her apologies.
I've more or less recovered from my sickness. and recovered from my over enthusiasm in my CCA. realising that I have so much undone and overdue work waiting for me, I guess i have to shove things aside for awhile no matter how unwilling I am to do so. there goes my distractions. I'll miss them dearly. you can bet on that.
to hell with mugging. I shall flunk blocks with style and then fall flat on my face. Now, that's the crab's style. heh, why do I sound so depressed
all of a sudden? goodness. I'm hit by a bad case of exam stress. perhaps I shall whistle to myself and pretend that all these never happened. distractions are distracting for a reason. you just CAN'T get your mind off these matters.

haven't blogged in a rather long time considering how often i normally blog haha. hmm.. sometimes i just get lazy and don't feel like blogging. but i still read your posts =)
so how have you guys been? i hope everything's fine and you are enjoying your holidays =)
lol, en, why did you have to remind me about how great shopping is? i realize if you wear the proper footwear, shopping is rather comfortable. don't have to worry about getting blisters which i usually do. but. taking short breaks and rests are a must, otherwise my poor feet won't be able to withstand the aches ><
hmm i shall help channel 8 promote their currently showing drama series "The beginning". I started watching it a bit late because I thought it wasn't nice. BUT. it is on the contrary really nice! shaun chen is my eye candy!! super shuai and cute.. haha. seriously. felicia chin is really pretty too. same applies for stella. and and...Tie tou lin yu zhong..
i love his singing voice. so super sweet...... melts my heart. to listen....to his heart-melting voice..

dont be surprised that i am able to appreciate chinese songs lor. =p i'm effectively bilingual. okay the latter portion is rubbish. ><
recently.... i have been thinking about life. maybe this is me. i tend to shoulder the weight of the world. sounds exaggerated right? lol. but... i feel really sad at the way life is. every day, when i read the sports page.. i see pictures of funerals. many people have died for no apparent good reason. for example drowning suddenly... being hit by falling tree branches. is life really that fragile? sadly... reality tells me it is.
maybe nature is fed up with us human beings for polluting the earth and for our own self-interests at the expense of nature. i feel really helpless at how unpredictable life is. nevertheless, i guess the only way to alleviate my sorrows is to treasure and cherish everything that i have now?
